In compliance with Law 21/2014 of December 29, of the protectorate of foundations and verification of the activity of associations declared of public utility, and the order JUS / 158/2018 of September 12, which establishes the level of subjection of the foundations and associations declared of public utility to transparency instruments, Fundació ACE informs:

The Statutes include a set of actions, tasks, activities and projects to be carried out by the entity:

- Scope of action

The Foundation develops its main activities in the territorial scope of its Protectorate. However, it may act in the rest of the territory of the Spanish State as well as on an international scale and may participate or cooperate with national or international public or private Entities or Organizations, dependent on foreign or non-governmental governments, prior authorization, as appropriate.

- Foundational purposes

The main purpose of the Foundation is the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive and behavioural disorders related to age, particularly Alzheimer's disease or other related dementias, as well as research, documentation, information, counselling, dissemination and teaching, related to the aforementioned purposes, fully submitting to current legislation in Catalonia and the Protectorate of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Likewise, the goal of the entity will be the care and protection of the person with dementia, the exercise of tutoring and the support to the family environment by promoting information and health education. The Foundation plans to provide assistance to other institutions that have convergent objectives and tasks.

For the achievement of the foundational purposes, the Foundation develops the activities that the Board considers necessary by itself and / or in collaboration with other entities, institutions or persons, in accordance with the regulations on Foundations.

• Organizational structure

The Board of Trustees is the governing and administrative body of the Foundation, represents and manages it and assumes all the faculties and functions necessary to achieve its objectives.

The Board has voluntarily created:

1. Scientific Committee: The Board of Trustees has designated a Scientific Committee whose function is to advise on all matters that the development of the foundational purposes require.
