The executive committee of the Spanish Association of Foundations has approved the incorporation of Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona to the organization, which joins more than 850 Spanish foundations that are already part of it.
Miren Jone Gurrutxaga, general director of Ace, highlights the added value of being part of the AEF, "which offers a space where we can develop and strengthen ourselves, where we can create synergies and expand our visibility." In addition, the general director is sure that "Ace has a lot to contribute in all fields" to the association, being a leading entity in multiple fields with more than 25 years of history.
Through this collaboration, Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona will have access to multiple services, such as legal, tax and accounting advice, training, working groups, initiatives to strengthen the dissemination of its activity, participation in international forums and access to collaboration agreements. The ultimate goal is to develop and strengthen the foundation sector, working together, providing knowledge and proposals to effectively meet the needs of society.
The Spanish Association of Foundations is the most representative entity of the foundation sector at the national level and the second most important in Europe. Its project focuses on creating a fairer society committed to the common good through the development and strengthening of the Spanish foundation sector.
