Dr. Vanesa Pytel, the new Secretary of the SEN Neuroimaging Study Group

The Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN) has just made effective the new positions of the Boards of its Groups, Commissions and Study Sections, with the appointment of the new Coordinators, Secretaries and Members who will serve for the next two years. Neurologist Vanesa Pytel, a member of the Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona team, is the new secretary of the Neuroimaging Study Group. Dr. Matias-Guiu, Neurologist at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos, has been appointed Coordinator of the group.

The Neuroimaging Study Group brings together members of the scientific society specialized in the application of neuroimaging techniques in different neurological pathologies with the aim of promoting and developing research and continuing education in this area of study. Dr. Matias-Guiu and Dr. Vanesa Pytel, as members of the Board of Directors of the Study Group, are in charge of managing the group both scientifically and financially.

The new Boards of the SEN Study Groups, Commissions and Sections have been elected after an election period that ended in November 2022 and the appointments have become effective once the allegations period ended.
