Fundació ACE has attended the IMI Stakeholder Forum 2019, focused in this edition on health and brain diseases in the digital era.
The conference, which took place on June 12th in Brussels, hosted several round tables of internationally renowned experts to analyse and discuss how new digital technologies are helping to transform prevention, diagnosis, treatment and the cure in the field of brain health.
While the digital revolution is currently driving great changes in all aspects of our lives, it is also transforming brain health research. Without going any further, advances in digital health technologies are currently allowing us to acquire and manage big biological data at an unprecedented level.
Likewise, mobile technologies are developing a whole range of new digital solutions that help patients gain a better understanding of their mental and cognitive health. All this allows a better clinical follow-up and favours an increasingly active role of people in the management of their health.
