Dr. Boada, interviewed by the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona

For some time now, the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona (COMB) has collected in interview-reports the careers of prominent members of the college. Recently, they had the opportunity to interview Dr. Mercè Boada, neurologist, co-founder and medical director of Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, and her interview was published on August 8. In these interviews, which are broadcast on the College's channels, the personal biography of the interviewee is reviewed and important questions about her vocational sense, her greatest aspirations, or what they consider her greatest achievements are answered. Dr. Mercè Boada is the first woman to be interviewed for this section.

In Mercè Boada's interview, which can be read on the COMB website, the neurologist delves into the beginning of her career. As a daughter of a family traditionally dedicated to fishmongering, she studied medicine thanks to the unconditional support of her parents, who helped her combine studies and work to achieve her degree. The interview, among other things, also captures the optimistic spirit and resilience of a professional in a masculinized sector who, thanks to her talent and tireless work, made her way to occupy a place among the most prominent names in catalan and international neurology.
