Support group for children of pre-senile dementia patients
The Department of Social Welfare and Family Affairs has awarded the Fundació ACE with a grant that will enable children of patients with presenile dementia to attend a support group. Fundació ACE had already pioneered the first support groups in Catalonia for spouses of people with Alzheimer's and under 65 years. Now it is a leading company in the treatment and support of family members of people with Alzheimer's.
Thus, Fundació ACE starts a support and training group for children between 18 and 35 years of patients with presenile dementia. It will consist in meeting regularly with participants either monthly or fortnightly.
