The MAE (Museu de les Arts Escèniques)  joins Estimul'Art

The MAE (Museu de les Arts Escèniques) of Barcelona has decided to join the initiative that ACE Foundation has been carrying out for more than two years. The program Estimul'Art, which until now only had the support of MUHBA and the Frederic Marès Museum, will now have the participation of the museum of the Institut del Teatre català.

It should be remembered that the Estimul'Art program is based on a set of programmed visits for small groups of patients to the mentioned museums. Patients can also attend these visits accompanied by relatives or caregivers. The objective is to stimulate the improvement of the memory and emotional capacity of patients, as well as to scientifically evaluate this capacity for improvement.

In addition, such a program has different facets. One is that of museums but another branch of the Estimul'Art program is occupied by music. Thanks to the collaboration of the ESMUC (School of Music in Catalonia) and the Study of the soprano Begoña Alberdi, patients of the Day Care Unit can enjoy small format concerts and participation in activities of the program ApropaCultura in the Auditori de Barcelona.

This collaboration will allow the patients of the ACE Foundation Day Care Unit to visit the pirate ship of the famous Dagoll Dagom, Antaviana, on March 31 and the dress of the Catalan actress and comedian, Mary Santpere, on 26 April.
