Peralada Festival dedicates its closing night to Alzheimer's
Next Sunday, August 1st, Castell de Peralada Festival will host the 5th edition of the Alzheimer's Night, a fundraising charity event of Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona for research. The event, which seeks to combine solidarity with gastronomic and cultural experience, will also have a heartfelt tribute to Mr. Arturo Suqué, founder of Grupo Peralada who died at the end of April.
This edition of Alzheimer's Night will take place on the closing night of the 35th edition of the Festival, which will end with the Lyrical Concert of the Mexican tenor Javier Camarena and the Liceu opera choir.
The gala has had their capacity restricted to 40 people due to the pandemic restrictions but the attendees will be able to enjoy the gala dinner at La Masia of the Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf, the Camarena recital and, later on, the meet & greet.
Given the success of the Alzheimer's Night in previous editions, and despite the restrictions, Ace and Peralada trust the success of the call and intend to continue with this initiative designed to raise awareness of the importance of investing in research projects against this disease.
In previous years, the Alzheimer's Night raised funds for the creation of the first Unit for Prevention & Early Diagnosis of the disease and for the financing of projects such as FACEHBI or NORFACE.
Tickets for Alzheimer's Night are now available until full capacity: more information here.
