The sixth edition of The Alzheimer's Night will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd and this year it will be a virtual event that will focus on the ACEhealth project.
Dr. Mercè Boada, co-founder and medical director of the ACE Foundation, points out that "the situation of COVID-19 has affected people with Alzheimer's. With the ACEhealth program, we want to provide the best quality of care with the rigor that identifies us and we want to ensure that in no corner of Catalonia, in any corner of the world, there is a person who does not have access to the diagnosis and the support of the ACE Foundation ".
The Alzheimer's Night offers various possibilities to collaborate through its website to make the event accessible and that anyone can collaborate.
Fundación ACE's ACEhealth project consists of developing and implementing a telematics assistance platform. In this way, we will be able to guarantee care for people with dementia all over the world, hand in hand with a multidisciplinary team with more than 25 years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment and research of dementia.
The Alzheimer's Night is a solidarity initiative born in 2015 in order to create a meeting point between the scientific world and society, give voice to the activities of prevention, treatment and research on Alzheimer's and sensitize society about the need to invest in research to advance the fight against the disease and care for people with dementia.
