Barcelona will host, for the first time, the solidarity event the Alzheimer's Night, organized by Fundació ACE annually.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 26th at the Mimosa Garden of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, located on the Passeig de Gràcia, on the very center of the Catalan capital. It will include a cocktail dinner, various musical performances, the presentation of the Give memory campaign and a solidarity raffle .
As every year, the event seeks to combine solidarity with gastronomic and cultural experience, in a unique environment. Given the success of previous editions of Alzheimer's Night, Fundació ACE intends to continue with this initiative designed to raise awareness about the importance of investing in research projects against this disease.
In July last year, in its third edition, Alzheimer's Night raised 18,000 euros, benefits fully destined to research projects on Alzheimer's disease.
This year Fundació ACE wants to finance part of the Fundació ACE Healthy Brain Initiative (FACEHBI) project, of early detection, framed in the Prevention and Timely Diagnosis Unit that was created thanks to the funds raised in the 2017 Alzheimer's Night.
Fundació ACE retakes the initiative with the same premise as last year. It is a night of music and entertainment that will bring together personalities from politics and culture to join forces in the fight against Alzheimer's.
Tickets for Alzheimer's Night can be purchased through Fundació ACE's website: more information here.
